Oh stars!!! I just taught The Little mermaid to a roomful of utterly uninterested undergrads last week...
is it just me, or is it very suspicious that Prince Eric, clearly a strapping young man, needs SUCH enticement to kiss Ariel (a sexy - voiceless - young girl)? Ariel's all puckered up and ready to go, and Eric's all "nah, you know, I think I'll go home and watch project runway instead...."
